54 Ultra is a Brooklyn garage rock outfit with a restless streak. The sound leans rough at the edges but never one-note, pulling indie and Latin soul into the same scrappy frame. The 2023 singles "Where Are You" and the "Just Like You / Sierra (Lampshade Sessions)" EP caught the project mid-stride, somewhere between a bedroom session and a band finding its volume.
