Aaron May rose out of Houston Texas, from the Alief neighborhood, carving his path in Southern hip hop with a gravelly flow, poetic lyricism, and soulful sampling that set him apart early in his career. He made waves with the 2019 EP Chase, led by the breakout single Let Go, which accumulated millions of streams and video views and helped define his sound of vulnerability and street truth. Since then he has released standout tracks like Ride, Still Humble, Leave, Outside Lookin In and built a following for songs that tackle love, pain, ambition and identity. As of 2024-2025 Aaron May is growing fast via major tour dates, consistent streaming momentum, radio plays in Houston and beyond, and a solid catalogue of hits and hidden gems that make him one of the most searched new voices in modern hip hop.
