Austin Meade is a Central Texas rock artist whose sound runs across hard rock, Southern rock, and country rock. He built a catalog through the 2010s, from early work like "Chief of the Sinners" (2014) and "Waves" (2019), and reached a turning point in 2021 with "Black Sheep" and "Happier Alone," released on Spinefarm.
He came up through the church. Meade first worked as a drummer and a drum teacher, then picked up the guitar as a teenager in his pastor-father's congregation, the roots behind the rock and country mix he plays today.
On the road, Meade has worked the Texas circuit at rooms like Billy Bob's, the Old Coupland Inn & Dancehall, and The Backyard Bar Stage Grill. That live history makes him a grounded fit for fairs, festivals, college events, casinos, and private engagements.
