bodie is a Christian alt-pop and Christian rap singer-songwriter whose genre-blending sound and Voice-bred voice have made him one of the fastest-rising names in contemporary Christian music. Signed to Provident Label Group in 2024, he released his label debut EP Happy to Be Here that September, later expanded as Happier to Be Here. His breakout single "Whisper and the Wind" reached No. 9 on the Billboard Christian Airplay chart, and follow-up releases including "No Skips," "Go For Broke," and "OBSESSED" have kept him fixed on Spotify's Top Contemporary Christian and Christian Alt playlists alongside artists like Andrew Ripp and Stephen Stanley.
He came to Christian music by way of the mainstream. Raised in Los Angeles in a family of working musicians and actors, bodie started releasing music independently in 2017 while leading worship at his church and teaching songwriting at Vanguard University in Irvine. A runner-up finish on Season 22 of NBC's The Voice put him in front of a national audience, and that platform pushed him to fold his faith openly into his songwriting rather than keep the two separate.
