Caleb Elliott is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and cellist whose music moves between Pop/Rock and indie folk. He records for Single Lock Records, which released his debut album Forever To Fade in 2019 and the genre-defiant Weed, Wine & Time in 2023, a record that runs through JJ Cale-style country, soul-jazz, and lyric-driven folk. His songwriting carries the influence of Harry Nilsson and Bobby Charles.
He came to music early and from the pew. Raised in Louisiana as a pastor's son with a church pianist mother, Elliott grew up immersed in traditional hymns and found a love for classical cello that jumpstarted his career.
That cello stayed central to his work beyond his own records: Elliott played on Cedric Burnside's 2021 album I Be Trying, which won the Grammy Award for Best Traditional Blues Album. On stage he has performed at rooms like Delmar Hall, the Bijou Theatre, and The Orange Peel, which makes him a grounded live booking for festival and fair lineups, college events, corporate dates, and private shows.
