Hindley Street Country Club is a cover band from Adelaide working across rock, pop, disco and soul, with its roots in pub rock. The group released its first album, HSCC 1, in 2019 and kept up that pace through HSCC 4 in 2021, putting the records out on its own label, The HSCC.
The band came together in late 2017, when Constantine Delo assembled it in Adelaide from musicians working around South Australia. That build still defines the group: a large ensemble, ten players deep, with enough range to cover disco, soul and straight rock in a single set.
Delo leads a lineup that includes Danny Lopresto, Kat Jade and Jordan Lennon. Their touring has taken them into concert halls and theaters, among them the Santander Performing Arts Center, the Birchmere and the Brown County Music Center, rooms that suit a band whose material audiences already know. It makes them a practical fit for festival and fair lineups, college programming, corporate events and private engagements.
