Jacob Collier is a London musician who works across jazz, classical, art pop, contemporary r&b, and electronic music, and the breadth is the point rather than a detour. His Djesse project traced that range across a decade, from Djesse Vol. 2 in 2019 through Djesse Vol. 3 in 2020 and the concluding Djesse, Vol. 4 in 2024, the same year he released the single "Over You." He records for UMG.
The credentials came early. Collier received his first Grammy Award in 2017, for his arrangement of "You and I," and the recognition points back at the skill that holds the catalog together: arranging, and the ability to make a large idea sit inside a song.
