Jacquees is an R&B and hip hop artist whose sound reaches across soul, pop rap, and contemporary R&B. He arrived at real scale in 2018 with 4275, then spent the next stretch pressing his claim to the genre itself, releasing King of R&B in 2019 and continuing through Put In Work in 2020. The singles have done the arguing for him: both "B.E.D." and "You" earned double platinum certification from the RIAA.
He came up the hard way, and close to home. Born Rodriquez Jacquees Broadnax in 1994 in Decatur, he built his early name as a teenager, churning out mixtapes and winning talent shows around Georgia. That grind paid off in 2015, when he signed a recording and management deal with Cash Money Records.
Performing solo as Jacquees, with FYB alongside him, he has carried that catalog to rooms of every size, from the Armory in Minneapolis to Bayou Music Center in Houston to the open air of Rotary Amphitheater. It makes him a natural fit for festival and fair lineups, college programming, casino dates, corporate events, and private shows.
