Jane's Addiction is an American alternative rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1985. The band consists of vocalist Perry Farrell, guitarist Dave Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins, and bassist Chris Chaney. They were one of the pioneers of the alternative rock genre and helped to popularize the genre in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
