Jay Park is a rapper and singer working across K-Pop, Korean hip hop, R&B, and pop rap. He first developed his passion for hip-hop music and culture through dance. His catalog runs from the 2014 release Evolution through Worldwide in 2015 and the 2016 album EVERYTHING YOU WANTED.
He came up in the spotlight early. Park won first place on KBS Music Bank with the song "Abandoned" on his debut stage in 2011, and that same year took home a Bonsang award at the Golden Disk Awards. He first led 2PM as a JYP Entertainment artist before building his own footing in the industry.
That footing became a label operation of his own. In 2013 Park founded AOMG, a Seoul-based independent hip-hop and urban label, and in 2017 he launched and co-owned H1GHR MUSIC. He has carried that work to stages including the Palais des Festivals Grand Auditorium, Spark Arena, and ICC Sydney Theatre, making him a sought-after live act for festival and fair lineups, college events, corporate dates, and private engagements.
