JD Simo (also known as Simo) is a guitarist, singer, and songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee. He is known for his blues and rock style of guitar playing, drawing influence from musicians like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and Duane Allman. Simo has released several albums, both as a solo artist and with his band, SIMO. He has also toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe. Simo has been recognized for his guitar playing, receiving accolades from Guitar Player magazine and the Gibson Custom Shop.
