McCurdy began her career as a child actress, appearing in several television shows, such as "Malcolm in the Middle," "Will & Grace," and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation." However, she is best known for her role as Sam Puckett on the Nickelodeon sitcom "iCarly" and its spinoff, "Sam & Cat."
