Jennifer Pharr Davis is an American long-distance hiker, author, speaker, and entrepreneur. She was born on February 17, 1984, in the United States. Pharr Davis has hiked over 14,000 miles of long-distance trails, including the entire Appalachian Trail, which she completed in a record-breaking time of 46 days, 11 hours, and 20 minutes in 2011. She has also hiked the Pacific Crest Trail, the Colorado Trail, and the Long Trail, among others.
In addition to her hiking accomplishments, Jennifer Pharr Davis is also an author and speaker. She has written several books, including "Becoming Odyssa," which chronicles her first thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail, and "The Pursuit of Endurance," which explores the history and culture of long-distance hiking. Pharr Davis is also a sought-after public speaker and has given talks on topics such as perseverance, goal-setting, and women's empowerment.
Pharr Davis is the founder and owner of Blue Ridge Hiking Company, a guiding service that offers guided hikes, backpacking trips, and outdoor education courses.
