Jo Firestone is an American comedian, writer, and actress. She was born on December 29, 1987, in Washington, D.C., and raised in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts.
Firestone began performing comedy while attending Wesleyan University, where she founded a student comedy group called "New Teen Force". After graduating in 2009, she moved to New York City to pursue a career in comedy.
Firestone has since become known for her unique and offbeat style of humor, which often involves audience participation, absurdist premises, and unexpected twists.
