Joe is a rhythm & blues singer, born Joe Lewis Thomas. His recording career began after he contributed "All the Things (Your Man Won't Do)" to the 1996 film soundtrack for Don't. He went on to release The Good, the Bad, the Sexy in 2011 and Signature in 2012, working with the Jive label along the way.
Joe was born in Georgia and raised in Alabama as the son of two preachers, drawing early musical influences from R&B and gospel. He later moved to New Jersey, where his recording career took shape.
A Grammy-nominated artist, Joe shared a Grammy nomination with Mariah Carey for the single "Thank God I Found You." He has taken his live show to venues including the Toyota Center, Agganis Arena, and Raising Cane's River Center Arena, making him a strong fit for festival and fair lineups, college events, corporate dates, and private engagements.
