John C. Reilly is an American actor, comedian, and musician. He was born on May 24, 1965, in Chicago, Illinois. He began his acting career in the 1980s, appearing in several theater productions before making his film debut in "Casualties of War" (1989).
Reilly has appeared in numerous films throughout his career, including "Boogie Nights" (1997), "Magnolia" (1999), "Gangs of New York" (2002), "Chicago" (2002), "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby" (2006), "Step Brothers" (2008), and "Kong: Skull Island" (2017). He has received critical acclaim for his performances and has been nominated for several awards, including an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in "Chicago".
