John Cho is a Korean-American actor known for his roles in film and television. He was born on June 16, 1972, in Seoul, South Korea, and grew up in Los Angeles, California.
Cho is best known for his role as Harold Lee in the "Harold and Kumar" film series, as well as his role as Hikaru Sulu in the rebooted "Star Trek" film series. He has also appeared in several other films, including "American Pie" (1999), "Better Luck Tomorrow" (2002), "The Grudge" (2004), "Identity Thief" (2013), and "Searching" (2018), which he also co-produced.
