John Hodgman is an American writer, actor, and humorist. He was born on June 3, 1971, in Brookline, Massachusetts, United States.
Hodgman is perhaps best known for his work as a contributor to the satirical news program "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" from 2005 to 2015. He also gained fame for his appearances in a series of television commercials for Apple, in which he portrayed a bespectacled "PC" opposite Justin Long's "Mac."
In addition to his work in television, Hodgman is a prolific writer and author.
