Joy Crookes is a South London singer-songwriter working in soul, neo-soul, and alternative R&B. She built her early following on a run of shorter releases, among them Reminiscence in 2019, before her debut album Skin arrived in 2021 and reached number 5 on the UK Albums Chart. Its single "Feet Don't Fail Me Now" was later certified Silver in the UK, and she returned in 2025 with Juniper. She records for Speakerbox Recordings.
