The Jungle Giants are an indie pop and indie rock band from Brisbane whose writing has moved steadily toward dance-pop and alternative dance. They introduced themselves with Learn To Exist in 2013, kept building through Quiet Ferocity in 2017, and reached number 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart with Love Signs in 2021. Their releases come through Together We Can Work Together Pty Ltd.
They started young. The group formed in 2011 in Brisbane, Queensland, out of a set of high school classmates, and the same four have carried it since: singer and guitarist Sam Hales, guitarist Cesira Aitken, bassist Andrew Dooris, and drummer Keelan Bijker. More than a decade on, that original lineup is still the band.
The Jungle Giants have taken those songs to Big Day Out and Groovin the Moo, and to rooms ranging from the Astor Theatre to Bar on the Hill at Newcastle University. A chart-topping album and a long run of festival and university stages make them a strong fit for college programming, festival and fair lineups, corporate events, and private engagements.
