Karen Waldrup is a Louisiana-born country artist and songwriter who works independently from her base in Nashville. She marked her arc with the 2013 debut The Beginning, sharpened her sound on Warm in Your Sunshine in 2017, and released her latest, Fix It, in 2025 on her own label, Waldrup Worldwide Records. Her music moves between contemporary country and country pop.
She came up the independent way and took it global, performing in more than 15 countries and on national stages including the NFL Experience at Super Bowl XLVII. That work has earned recognition at home: 12 Nashville Industry Music Awards over her career, including three in 2017 for Best Live Country Performer, Best Video, and Best Solo Female Country Artist, plus the 2019 Torch Award from the Keith Whitley Fingerprint on Country Music Awards. In 2023, Country Evolution named her a Top 5 Artist to Watch.
