Kassi Ashton is an American country artist whose songs pull rock, soul, and R&B into the frame. She introduced herself in 2018 with "California, Missouri," then widened the sound across "Dates In Pickup Trucks" in 2022 and "Made From the Dirt" in 2024. The through-line is a country singer who never treats the genre as a fence.
The major-label backing came early. In December 2017 Ashton signed a joint recording deal with UMG Nashville and Interscope, and her work has continued to come out through MCA Nashville and Interscope Records. That pairing, a Nashville country imprint alongside a pop and rock label, matches the way she writes.
On the road she has played rooms built for volume, including the Nutter Center at Wright State University, Blossom Music Center, and Acrisure Amphitheater. Amphitheater stages and college venues suit her, and she works just as well on fair and festival lineups, at corporate events and casinos, and for private engagements.
