Klingande is the melodic house project of French DJ and producer Cédric Steinmyller. The 2014 single "Jubel" set the template, a warm, unhurried strain of tropical house, and Steinmyller kept building on it: "Somewhere New" followed in 2016, and "The Album" arrived in 2019 with the deep house, dance, and electropop threads that run through the catalog. He records for SME.
He started small and local. Klingande began in Croix at the end of 2012 as a duo, with Steinmyller alongside Edgar Catry, and Steinmyller has carried the name forward on his own since Catry's departure. More than a decade in, the sound has stayed recognizable without staying still.
The live side is built for rooms where a set has to move a crowd rather than just fill a room, from The Surf Lodge to Elsewhere and Joy District. That range makes Klingande a workable fit for college programming, corporate nights, festival and fair stages, casino rooms, and private events.
