Kree Harrison is a Texas singer-songwriter whose rootsy, bluesy, soulful country drew its first national audience as the runner-up on American Idol Season 12 in 2013. Her debut single "All Cried Out" reached #34 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart that year, and the 2016 album This Old Thing followed, peaking at #28 on Top Country Albums and #20 on Heatseekers. In 2020 she released Chosen Family Tree on One Vision Music Group.
She came up the hard way. Harrison started out singing in churches and regional rodeo circuits around her hometown of Woodville, Texas, then moved to Nashville as a child after signing a development deal with Lyric Street Records around age ten. The years that followed turned her into a fixture of the city's songwriter rooms.
In Nashville she became a regular at The Bluebird Cafe, performed at The Ryman Auditorium, and made her Grand Ole Opry debut singing "All Cried Out," "In The Garden," and "Help Me Make It Through The Night." She also toured nationally with the American Idol Top 11. A grounded solo performer with a real country pedigree and a proven stage, Harrison is a strong fit for fairs, festivals, casino stages, college events, and private engagements.
