LÉON is the stage name of Lotta Lindgren, a Swedish singer and songwriter who built her catalog the patient way, in EPs before albums. Treasure put the name in circulation, a pair of follow-up EPs kept it there, and the self-titled LÉON arrived as the long-form statement the shorter records had been pointing toward. Her recorded work sits with LL Entertainment.
Stockholm is where it starts. She is a songwriter as much as a singer, and that credit is the constant across every release under the LÉON name, which is why the records hold together as one voice rather than a run of separate projects.
