Leslie Odom Jr is a Tony and Grammy Award-winning singer, actor and songwriter whose concerts mix jazz standards, reimagined pop and musical theater classics. He became a household name as Aaron Burr in Hamilton, earning the 2016 Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical and a Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album, and he received two Academy Award nominations for playing Sam Cooke in One Night in Miami and co-writing its original song "Speak Now." His six albums include Mr (2019), When a Crooner Dies (2023) and his first live album, An Offering: Live at Speakeasy Studios, released in October 2025.
Broadway came early. Born in Queens and raised in Philadelphia, Odom made his Broadway debut in Rent at 17 and built his career across stage and screen before Hamilton made him a star. He later produced and starred in the 2023 Broadway revival of Purlie Victorious, earning a Tony nomination for his performance, and he is a New York Times bestselling author whose books include the memoir Failing Up.
Leslie Odom Jr returned to Hamilton as Aaron Burr for a limited Broadway run in fall 2025 that helped the show post record grosses, and he is a three-time Emmy nominee with film credits including Glass Onion and Harriet. His concerts bring him to venues such as the London Palladium and Atlanta Symphony Hall, where his Christmas Tour returns in December 2026 after a sold-out 2025 run. With a Broadway pedigree and a polished songbook of standards, holiday favorites and Hamilton classics, Leslie Odom Jr is a natural headliner for performing arts center seasons, symphony pops concerts, holiday galas, corporate events and private shows.
