Lily Meola is an American singer-songwriter whose bluesy soul pop moves easily between folk-pop and pop. She self-released her EP Daydream in March 2022, the year she stepped onto a national stage, and followed it with the single "Without You" in 2023 through Nettwerk Music Group.
She came up close to the ground. Meola grew up in Hawaii and began performing in local bars and cafes around Maui at age 11, holding down a weekly residency at Cafe des Amis in Paia. It was there that Willie Nelson discovered her. Touring with Nelson, she learned songwriting alongside Jackson Browne and was mentored by producer Bob Rock, an apprenticeship that shows in the craft of her writing.
That path reached a wider audience in 2022, when Meola competed on America's Got Talent Season 17. Judge Heidi Klum sent her through with the Golden Buzzer, and she went on to place third in her Semifinal week. Meola has since brought her songs to rooms like Firefly Distillery, the Skyla Credit Union Amphitheatre, and The St. Augustine Amphitheatre, making her a natural fit for festival and fair lineups, college events, corporate dates, and private engagements.
