Lindstrøm is the Norwegian producer Hans-Peter Lindstrøm, a central figure in the strain of electronic music known as space disco and nu-disco. He releases through Feedelity, the label he founded for his own contemporary disco productions, and his catalog runs from the sprawling II (2009) through the back-to-back Six Cups of Rebel and Smalhans (both 2012) to It's Alright Between Us As It Is (2017). In 2008 he won the Spellemannprisen, the Norwegian Grammy, for the album Where You Go I Go Too.
He came up far from the dancefloor. Raised on the outskirts of Stavanger on country and western records, Lindstrøm worked his way toward the long-form, melodic disco productions that became his signature.
His work reaches beyond his solo releases: he records as the duo Lindstrøm & Prins Thomas, and contributed a DJ mix to the Late Night Tales compilation series, released on Azuli Records in July 2007. He has performed at rooms including Parkteatret, Golden Lion, and Pumpehuset, making him a strong fit for festival lineups, casino dates, performing arts center bookings, and private events.
