Lizzy McAlpine is a singer-songwriter working across indie folk and folk pop. Her 2020 debut, Give Me a Minute, marked a quiet arrival, and by the time she released five seconds flat in 2022 and Older in 2024 on Indigo Blue/RCA Records, she had grown into a writer whose songs land with unhurried confidence.
She came up singing before she was writing. Born near Philadelphia in 1999, McAlpine sharpened her ear in an a cappella group as a kid, started putting words to music early, and studied at Berklee College of Music before leaving school to chase the work full-time.
Now performing under her own name, McAlpine has taken those songs to rooms like Terminal 5 in New York and the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever, a range that makes her a natural fit for festival and fair lineups, college events, and private engagements.
