Logic is a rapper working across boom bap, conscious hip hop and jazz rap, and his catalog runs deep enough that the singles tend to travel further than the tracklists. "1-800-273-8255" reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned a Grammy Award nomination, the kind of crossover moment that reframed him for listeners who had never picked up a mixtape. He has kept the release pace up since, with Vinyl Days in 2022 and College Park in 2023, and he records under Boom.Records.
He built the foundation himself. Born Sir Robert Bryson Hall II in Gaithersburg, Maryland, Logic put out a run of early digital mixtapes beginning with Young, Broke & Infamous in 2010. Those tapes were downloaded hundreds of thousands of times before any label was involved, and that audience is what led to his signing with Def Jam.
The RattPack has been part of the picture throughout, and by the time Everybody's Tour rolled through in 2017 the rooms had scaled accordingly: Red Rocks Amphitheatre outside Denver, The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, Bayfront Park Amphitheatre in Miami.
