Maeta is an American R&B singer on Roc Nation Records, working in contemporary R&B and neo-soul with alternative and house-influenced edges. She has been releasing music since 2019, and her catalog moves from Habits in 2021 through When I Hear Your Name in 2023, which she issued in a live version the same year, to Endless Night in 2024.
She came up around music before she made any. Born Maeta Rose Hall on March 16, 2000, in Indianapolis, Indiana, she grew up in an artistic household with a painter for a mother and a drummer for a father, and she started singing at seven after seeing the video for Leona Lewis's "Bleeding Love."
