Marcus King Band, the Grammy-nominated Greenville, South Carolina-born outfit led by singer and guitarist Marcus King, released their critically acclaimed album Darling Blue in September 2025 via American Recordings/Republic Records, a record praised by Forbes as straddling "old-school rock rowdiness and time-tested country twang" and named one of Nashville's best albums of the year by The Tennessean. Produced by Grammy-winning producer Eddie Spear at the legendary Capricorn Studios in Macon, Georgia, Darling Blue features collaborations with Billy Strings, Jamey Johnson, Noah Cyrus, and Jesse Welles and marked the band's first full studio reunion since the Dave Cobb-produced Carolina Confessions in 2018. In May 2026 the band expanded the project with the companion release Darling Blue / No Room for Blue, adding twelve new tracks and earning standout Stagecoach festival coverage from both Billboard and Rolling Stone for their blistering live set. With a 39-city Darling Blue Pt. 2 Tour underway through summer 2026, including festival stops at Stagecoach, Summerfest, Bourbon and Beyond, and Gulf Coast Jam alongside headline rooms from Nashville's Municipal Auditorium to Boston's MGM Music Hall at Fenway, Marcus King Band are one of the most in-demand Southern rock, blues, and Americana acts available for festivals, college shows, and major performing arts engagements. Rooted in the tradition of the Allman Brothers Band and Otis Redding while drawing comparisons to Zach Bryan and Brandi Carlile for their emotional directness, Marcus King Band bring the full weight of the American South to every stage they play.
