Max Dean is a London DJ and producer whose groove-driven house has made him one of the fastest-rising names in UK club music. "Can't Decide," his collaboration with cousin Luke Dean and Locky, spent nine weeks in the UK Top 40, has passed 71 million Spotify streams and won Best Track at the 2025 DJ Mag Best of British Awards. He also teamed with rapper Nafe Smallz and Timbaland on "Feel Much Better," a reworking of Aaliyah's "Try Again," and released The Finest EP with Luke Dean in 2025.
He built his own lane in the underground. Born and raised in London, Dean runs the label neXup recz, which grew in under two years into one of Beatport's top Minimal/Deep Tech imprints, and Mixmag named him one of its Breakthrough DJs of 2024. His success even shaped the family business: Luke Dean has said watching his older cousin make a living as a DJ is what pulled him into electronic music.
His sets now move between London's Drumsheds and The Warehouse Project, Ibiza dates at Pacha, Amnesia and Ushuaïa, and U.S. clubs like Club Space in Miami and Sound in Los Angeles, and in 2026 he made his Coachella debut going back to back with Luke Dean. He is a strong fit for festival stages, nightclubs, college events, corporate events and private shows.
