MC4D is the electronic duo of twin brothers Matt and Chris Drake, working across dance and EDM and pushing out into country dance crossover and folktronica. They put their music out themselves, on their own MC4D imprint, starting with the 2020 remix of "Rockstar Everyday" and arriving at full-length statements with Wanderings in 2024 and COMPASS in 2026. The catalog behind those records now runs past thirty releases.
The brothers came up together in Darien, Connecticut. They started MC4D in 2018 and built it on the working relationship they already had as twins, pairing melodic writing with production made for a dance floor.
Their live run tracks the same widening. MC4D have opened for London On Da Track and for Icona Pop, and they have played EDC Las Vegas on the electronic side of the catalog and Stagecoach on the country side, with stops in rooms as different as Cheyenne Depot Plaza and Lansdowne Pub. That reach makes them a straightforward fit for college programming, fair and festival lineups, corporate events, and private engagements.
