Melanie’s passion for music started at a young age. In an interview with Voyage LA, she confessed to knowing music would be her career plan from age 6. Things started materializing when she joined High School. She went through periods of doubting her ability to do solo music. Her anxiety led her to join three different girl groups, where she experienced people doubting her singing style. Melanie’s journey as a solo artist started when Andreas Moss asked her to record music with her after listening to her song cover on Facebook. Together they released a single called Lonely. The track was an immediate success. Moss asked Melanie to join Curb Record, which he was signed. Getting an opportunity at the record label company was a dream come true and the beginning of Melanie’s solo career.
