Self-proclaimed "best Mexican rapper in the world" N7, born Isaiah Favela, met Deontrae Boyd, aka Pwap, in high school; soon the two friends started rapping together. Intent on breaking into the game, the duo recorded a string of internet-released tracks such as "On God," "Doubt tha Gang," "No Hook," and "Rackman," carving out a local cult following for their fast-paced, call-and-response flow and lack of Auto-Tune, which gave them a somewhat retro sound. Their breakout tune was 2018's "Spazzin'," which racked up millions of streaming hits. Later they released the singles "Big West," "Big Nose," and "Hold On," which appeared on their 2020 debut album Apply Pressure.
