Nell Mescal is a singer-songwriter from Maynooth whose work sits between indie pop and indie folk. She introduced herself with "Missing You" in 2020, followed it with "Graduating" in 2022, and has since built a catalog of more than twenty releases for WMG, most recently "The Closest We'll Get" in 2025.
She started young. Mescal was writing songs at 13, and when the COVID-19 pandemic arrived she treated the pause as a decision point, committing to music as a career and spending the time working on her sound and her songwriting.
The touring record has kept pace. Mescal has played The Great Escape, BST Hyde Park, and Reading and Leeds Festival, along with rooms like Other Voices in Dingle and Cyprus Avenue. She performs as a solo artist, which makes her an adaptable live booking for college campuses, festival and fair lineups, corporate dates, and private events.
