Nick Grant is a Southern rapper whose work runs from contemporary hip hop to an alternative edge. His debut album, Return of the Cool, arrived in 2017, and he followed it with Dreaming' Out Loud in 2018. By the time of Welcome to Loveland in 2022, Grant had built a catalog that carried his voice across the South and beyond.
Grant came up early. Born around 1989 in Walterboro, South Carolina, he started rapping at age 12 before relocating to Atlanta, the city that has shaped so much of modern Southern rap. That long apprenticeship shows in the range he brings to a verse.
