Noizu is the alias of producer and DJ Jacob Plant, a house and tech house artist based in Los Angeles. He debuted under the name in 2017 with "Lasers" on the Chris Lake and Skrillex-curated HOWSLA compilation, launching his career in the house scene after relocating from the UK. That same year he released the Jungle EP on Confession, Tchami's label, and by 2021 he had followed it with the Revival EP.
Since then Noizu's releases have landed on Catch & Release, Black Book Records, and Toolroom Records, and he founded his own label, TECHNE, along with its Club TECHNE event series. He has played EDC Mexico and Mysteryland, and his club and venue runs include Club Space in Miami, Eden Ibiza, and the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, which he has sold out. That track record makes him a sought-after live act for festival lineups, club dates, college events, and private engagements.
