Nurse Blake is a nurse turned touring comedian whose healthcare humor has made him, in the words of The New York Times, "a genuine phenomenon." With nearly 4 million social media followers and more than 200,000 tickets sold worldwide, he grew his PTO Comedy Tour from 14 cities to 55 in 2022, took the Shock Advised Comedy Tour to 100 cities in 2023 and is now on the But Did You Die? Comedy Tour, which has played more than 100 shows across the U.S. and Canada and added dates in Australia and New Zealand.
Every punchline comes from the hospital floor. Blake Lynch grew up in Orlando, started in healthcare at 17 as a patient transporter and earned his BSN from the University of Central Florida, where he led the Florida Nursing Student Association and founded Banned4Life, a campaign that helped end the FDA's lifetime ban on blood donations from gay men. He went on to work in Level 1 trauma centers before his nursing sketches went viral.
He has also built a gathering place for the profession. Blake founded NurseCon at Sea, a continuing education conference aboard a cruise ship that sold out in minutes its first year and now draws more than 4,000 participants, making it one of the largest nursing conferences in the U.S. He is a strong fit for colleges, healthcare and hospital association conferences, corporate events, theaters and private engagements.
