ODUMODUBLVCK is a Nigerian rapper working across hip-hop, drill, and grime with Afrobeat running underneath, and he has his own name for the result: Okporoko Rhythms, a style he defined himself. He laid the groundwork on T.A.B.S (TO ALL Blvcksheep) in 2017, then reached a far wider audience with EZIOKWU in 2023 on Native Sounds/Def Jam. INDUSTRY MACHINE followed in 2025.
He came up between two cities. Born Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu on 19 October 1993, he spent his childhood in Lagos and relocated to Abuja at 17, and it was Abuja where the career took shape.
He records and moves with the Anti World Gangstars. The awards followed fast: a Galaxy Music Award for Next Rated Artist in 2022, then a pair of Headies in 2023 for Rookie of the Year and Best Rap Single, plus Best Newcomer at the African Muzik Magazine Awards that same year. Live, he has taken the set to rooms including Tor 3, Concord Music Hall, and Brooklyn Steel, which makes him a strong fit for college programming, festival and fair lineups, and private events.
