Old Dominion is a Nashville country band whose records sit between country rock and country pop. Signed to Three Up Three Down, LLC/Columbia Nashville, the group has kept its output steady rather than sporadic: Memory Lane in 2023, Coming Home in 2024, and Barbara in 2025, a stretch of releases that has kept them on the road and on country radio without a long pause between records.
The name came from outside Nashville. Old Dominion is the nickname for Virginia, where four of the members have roots, and the band formed in Nashville in 2007. That is close to two decades of the same working partnership, built in the town where they came together rather than assembled around a single hit.
Matthew Ramsey, Trevor Rosen, and Brad Tursi are among the members who have carried that lineup, and the shelf reflects it: Vocal Group of the Year from the Country Music Association and Group of the Year from the Academy of Country Music, each across multiple years. Their stages have ranged from the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville to the California Mid-State Fair at the Paso Robles Event Center and Save on Foods Memorial Centre, which is the practical case for booking them on fair and festival lineups, at college events and corporate dates, and for private engagements.
