Oliver Heldens is a Dutch DJ and producer whose home ground is future house, with big room and electro house sitting on either side of it. "Gecko (Overdrive)" and "Pikachu" landed in 2014, "Bunnydance" followed in 2015, and the run traces a producer who found his lane early and kept widening it. His records have come out through Spinnin' Records, Tiësto's Musical Freedom, and Heldeep Records, the label he runs himself.
He got moving young. Heldens was 17 when Spinnin' Records found his productions on SoundCloud and signed him, and Tiësto was among the DJs backing those early tracks. That support carried him onto Musical Freedom, Tiësto's imprint, before he was old enough to have a scene reputation to protect. Rotterdam is where it started.
In 2016 he was named Iconic Global Producer of the Year at the Style Icon Asia Awards. His festival credits run through Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, and Coachella, and his club and theater dates include rooms such as KOKO and SILO. That mix of festival-scale sets and room-by-room touring makes him a practical fit for college events, corporate parties, festival and casino lineups, and private engagements.
