Panic! at the Disco is a Las Vegas band whose sound refused to sit still, moving across alternative rock, baroque pop, emo, and electropop over a run that lasted from 2004 to 2023. That restlessness announced itself early: the 2006 MTV Video Music Award for Video of the Year went to "I Write Sins Not Tragedies," and the band spent the next decade and a half reworking what it was.
They came out of Las Vegas as a full band and slowly became something else. What began with founders like Brendon Urie, Ryan Ross, Spencer Smith, and Brent Wilson narrowed over the years until Urie carried the name forward, and the records tracked that shift. Death of a Bachelor arrived in 2016, Pray for the Wicked in 2018, and Viva las Vengeance in 2022 closed out the story.
Signed to WMG across that arc, Panic! at the Disco built a catalog with theatrical range and a reputation earned onstage, from the emo-pop of the early days to the polished pop of the later albums. That combination of hooks, spectacle, and a deep back catalog makes them a strong fit for festival and fair lineups, college programming, corporate events, casinos, and private shows.
