Paris Texas is an alternative hip hop duo out of Los Angeles, and the name is the first clue to how they work: it points at Wim Wenders' 1984 road film, not a place on a map. Louie Pastel and Felix came together in 2018 as rapper-producers, building songs they could shape end to end. Their 2021 debut BOY ANONYMOUS introduced a sound that pulls rap rock and experimental hip hop into the same frame, and MID AIR in 2023 widened it further.
