Patrick Droney is a singer-songwriter and guitarist whose music spans blues, contemporary blues, and adult alternative pop/rock. He first surfaced as a self-titled artist in 2018, then sharpened his sound across State of the Heart in 2021 and Subtitles For Feelings in 2023.
Droney came up a guitar player first. He was working the instrument from a young age, and at thirteen he won the Robert Johnson New Generation Award for Best Young Blues Guitarist, an early mark of where the blues sat at the center of his playing.
Signed to WMG, Droney has carried that catalog to rooms like Music Hall Of Williamsburg, Exit/In, and The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. He is a grounded live act for college events, corporate dates, festival and fair lineups, casinos, and private engagements.
