Phora is a rapper working across hip hop, emo rap, and r&b. The 2017 run that produced "Slow Down" and "Yours Truly Forever" set the confessional register he has stayed in, and by 2021 he was still building songs around plainspoken heartbreak, this time with Skye alongside him on "Love Letters." His releases come out through Phora LLC.
He started early. Born Marco Anthony Archer, he grew up in Anaheim, California, and began pursuing rap at seven, after recording his first track with his father.
Live dates have taken him to rooms including the El Rey Theater, the Onyx Event Center, and HB Social Club, a circuit that suits a rapper whose draw is built on his own catalog rather than a co-sign.
