Pink Martini is a 13-member “little orchestra,” founded by pianist Thomas Lauderdale in 1994. Performing in over 20 languages, the band weaves together a colorful variety of styles, from classical, traditional pop standards, Latin and jazz to take its audience on a multi-cultural journey. Lead singer China Forbes won the Ella Fitzgerald Award from Montreal Jazz Festival, and the band was inducted into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame. Pink Martini performs on major concert stages around the world and is often joined on stage by singers Storm Large, Edna Vazquez, Jimmie Herrod and special guest Ari Shapiro. With performances at Carnegie Hall, the Hollywood Bowl, Sydney Opera House, and more to boast, they are a globally-renowned ensemble currently celebrating their 30th anniversary season.
