PLAVE is a South Korean boy group working in K-pop and east asia pop, and every member of it is virtual. The group arrived in 2023 with Why? and has kept a fast release pace since, moving through the ASTERUM records to ASTERUM : 134-1 in 2024. PLAVE records for UMG.
The group came together in Seoul in 2023, formed by the virtual entertainment company VLAST, and has been active without pause since that debut year. Its third mini-album, Caligo Pt.1, made PLAVE the first entirely virtual Korean group to sell over one million units, as reported by Circle Chart. Forbes reported that the group earned major awards and significant album sales within one year of its debut.
The lineup includes Yejun, Noah and Bamby. PLAVE have played sell-out concerts as an entirely virtual K-pop act, including a date at Singapore Expo, and that combination of chart-scale sales and a stage show built for large rooms makes them a strong fit for college programming, festival and fair lineups, corporate events and private engagements.
