Porter Robinson is an electronic producer, singer and songwriter known for emotional, cinematic dance music and some of the most beloved live shows in the genre. His debut album, Worlds, and its follow-up, Nurture, both hit No. 1 on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Albums chart, with Nurture topping The Fader's list of the best albums of 2021. His 2024 album, SMILE! :D, launched a world tour of more than 70 shows, and in 2026 he debuted "WannaCry" with Ninajirachi at Coachella.
He was a teenage prodigy. Raised in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Robinson signed to Skrillex's OWSLA label at 18, and his 2012 single "Language" went to No. 1 on Beatport's overall chart before he pivoted from big-room EDM toward the songwriting that defines his albums.
Robinson's projects reach well beyond the club. "Shelter" with Madeon became an anime short with A-1 Pictures and a year-long joint tour, his Virtual Self alias earned a Grammy nomination for "Ghost Voices," and he founded the Second Sky festival in Oakland. He is a strong fit for festival lineups, college programming, casinos, corporate events and private shows.
